【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구 인쇄업체 대표가 10년간의 지역사회 봉사활동을 인정받아 문화체육관광부 장관 표창을 받았다.
대구 중구는 남산2동 현대기획 최경식 대표가 지난 12일 서울 중구 호텔 피제이에서 열린 '제37회 인쇄문화의 날 기념식'에서 문화체육관광부 장관 표창을 받았다고 밝혔다.
문화체육관광부는 매년 인쇄문화 산업 발전과 전통 가치 확산에 기여한 유공자를 선정해 정부 포상을 수여한다. 올해는 인쇄·영상 제작 분야에서 활발히 활동하며 사회공헌에 앞장서 온 최 대표가 수상의 영예를 안았다.
최 대표는 2015년 주민자치위원으로 활동을 시작해 현재 남산2동 주민자치위원회 위원장, 중구 주민자치위원연합회 부위원장으로 활동하고 있다.
그는 사회복지재단 관련 각종 인쇄물을 꾸준히 지원해 지역 복지와 나눔 문화 확산에 기여했다. 영상 제작 분야에서도 다양한 콘텐츠를 제작·보급해 지역민의 문화 접근성을 높이는 데 힘써왔다.
최 대표는 "인쇄와 영상은 단순한 기록을 넘어 사회적 가치를 확산시키는 도구가 될 수 있다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 문화 활동에 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
인쇄문화의 날은 1447년 세계 최초의 한글 금속활자본 '석보상절' 간행을 기념하기 위해 1988년에 제정됐다. 매년 기념식을 열어 인쇄문화의 전통과 가치를 되새기고 있다.

CEO Choi began his career as a member of the local autonomous committee in 2015 and currently serves as Chairman of the Namsan 2-dong Residents' Autonomous Committee and Vice Chairman of the Jung-gu Residents' Autonomous Committee Association.
He has consistently supported various printed materials related to social welfare foundations, contributing to local welfare and a culture of sharing.
