대전시립연정국악원이 오는 9월 24일 수요일 오전 11시, 작은마당 무대에서 2025 기획시리즈 K-브런치콘서트 <우·아·한(우리의 아침을 여는 한국음악)>의 하반기 첫 공연을 선보인다.
이번 무대는 가야금 연주자 이슬기가 출연해 전통과 현대를 아우르는 다채로운 프로그램으로 꾸며진다.
K-브런치콘서트 <우·아·한>은 대전국악방송과 공동 기획으로 진행되는 정기 공연 시리즈로, 국악을 친숙하게 향유할 수 있는 시간을 마련하고자 기획됐다. 브런치 시간대에 선보이는 국악 무대라는 차별화된 형식을 통해 전통음악 저변 확대와 일상 속 한국음악 향유 문화를 도모한다.
이번 9월 공연의 주인공 이슬기는 국가무형문화재 제23호 가야금산조 및 병창 이수자로, 전통에 대한 깊은 이해를 바탕으로 현대음악과 크로스오버까지 활발히 시도하는 연주자다.
정악, 민속악, 창작곡을 자유롭게 오가며 자신만의 음악을 구축해 온 그는 국내외 무대에서 호평을 받고 있으며, 특히 문화소외계층을 위한 ‘베드사이드 음악회’로 음악 나눔에도 앞장서고 있다.
이날 공연에서는 25현 가야금 창작곡 햇살 아래서, 시조의 낭만을 새롭게 해석한 서산에 일모하니, 그리고 가야금산조 등 다채로운 곡들이 준비됐다. 여기에 병창과 물바가지 연주가 어우러진 독특한 무대도 마련돼 관객들에게 색다른 감흥을 선사할 예정이다.
