(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천대 무역학부는 저학년 학생들이 자신의 역량과 관심사를 깊이 이해하고, 선·후배 간 자연스러운 교류를 통해 진로 설계와 취업 준비에 실질적인 도움을 받을 수 있도록 ‘저학년 진로 역량 제고 프로그램’을 기획했다.
이번 프로그램은 실생활 밀착형 활동과 경험 공유를 중심으로 구성되어, 진로 탐색 초기 단계의 학생은 물론 고학년에도 학업 몰입도 향상과 취업률 제고에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.
무역학부는 저학년 재학생들이 조기에 진로 방향을 설정하고, 학과 내 유대감을 강화할 수 있도록 ‘청년 무역인 잘 지내기 5대 프로그램’을 기획·운영한다.
이번 프로그램은 무역학부 재학생 중 특히 진로와 학업에 대한 정보가 부족한 저학년을 주요 대상으로 하며, 자신의 역량과 관심사를 입체적으로 탐색하고, 선후배 간 교류와 실질적인 정보 공유를 촉진하는 데 중점을 둔다.
프로그램은 학업, 브랜딩, 네트워킹, 금융 이해, 글로벌 경험 등 5개 주제로 구성되며, 단순 강의식 전달이 아닌 참여형·실생활 밀착형 활동을 통해 학생들의 자발적인 참여를 유도한다.
전반적인 프로그램은 2025년 9월부터 11월까지 순차적으로 진행될 예정이다.

고려대학교 국제대학원 남민아 강사와 연세대학교 국제학대학원 방윤설 강사가 초청되어 실무 경험과 전문성을 바탕으로 학생들에게 실질적인 조언을 제공하며, 학부 단계에서의 준비 방향성을 제시했다.
강연에서는 국제무역사, 무역영어, 물류관리사, 원산지관리사, 외환전문역 2종 등 주요 무역 관련 자격증의 취득 필요성과 준비 전략이 집중적으로 다뤄졌다.
