【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 달서구(구청장 이태훈)는 지난 13일 국회의사당 의원회관에서 열린 ‘제9회 청년의 날 기념식’에서 2025년 청년친화 헌정대상 ‘종합대상’을 수상했다고 16일 밝혔다.
청년친화 헌정대상은 국회사무처 소관 사단법인 ‘청년과 미래’가 주관하며, 지방자치단체의 청년정책·소통·활동 지원 성과를 종합 평가해 시상한다.
달서구는 청년 정책 포럼 운영, 대구 자치구 최초 청년 자격증 응시료 지원, 청년부부 결혼축하금, ‘결혼친화도시’ 조성을 위한 ‘잘 만나보세’ 뉴 새마을운동 등 선제적 정책이 높은 평가를 받았다.
특히 올해 수립한 ‘2025년 청년정책 시행계획’을 통해 238억 원 규모의 51개 청년정책을 추진 중이다. 주요 사업으로 면접 정장 무료 대여, AI 기반 제조·품질 전문가 양성, 청년 플리마켓, 청년 문화교실 운영 등이 포함됐다.
이태훈 구청장은 “청년이 도전하고 성장하는 도시 달서를 만들기 위해 청년친화 환경을 더욱 촘촘히 구축하겠다”고 말했다.
