【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=이번 주말 국립대구과학관 일대가 어린이들의 웃음소리로 가득 찬다.
달성문화재단 달성문화도시센터가 오는 20일과 21일 양일간 'YES! 키즈존 3회차'를 개최한다고 16일 밝혔다.
큰 호응을 얻은 1·2회차에 이은 세 번째 행사로 어린이의 상상력과 창의력을 자극하는 체험형 콘텐츠를 선보인다.
'놀다보면, 달성 돼'를 주제로 양일 오후 1시부터 5시까지 모든 프로그램이 무료로 운영된다.
축제장은 '연구실' 콘셉트로 꾸며져 어린이들이 자연스럽게 호기심을 갖고 체험에 몰입할 수 있도록 했다. 인기 애니메이션 '브레드 이발소'의 '빵스타 오브 뮤직쇼'가 대표 프로그램으로 무대에 오르며, 마술과 버스킹 등 다양한 공연도 함께 펼쳐진다.
가족 단위 방문객을 위한 무료 체험 프로그램도 20종 마련됐다. 지역 문화활동가들이 다년간의 경험을 바탕으로 수차례 기획 회의를 거쳐 만든 맞춤형 콘텐츠로, 참가자들에게 풍부한 경험을 선사할 예정이다.
핑크모래 체험과 우주선 슬라이드, 대형 풍선 놀이터 등 놀이형 체험도 풍성하다. 각 체험 시설에는 안전 요원을 배치해 부모들이 안심하고 아이들을 맡길 수 있도록 했다.
휴식 공간과 먹거리 공간도 특별하게 준비됐다. 달성군 주민들이 직접 참여하는 '달성점빵'과 '달성아트마켓'이 열려 지역 상생과 주민 참여를 강화한다는 계획이다.
최재훈 달성군수는 "'YES! 키즈존'은 단순히 아이들을 위한 놀이 공간을 넘어, 지역 사회가 함께 만들어가는 참여형 축제로 거듭나고 있다"며 "하반기 3회차 행사를 통해 법정문화도시 달성이 지향하는 가족 친화적이고 창의적인 문화 환경을 널리 확산해 나가겠다"고 말했다.
