현대카드D는 다이닝(Dining), 현대카드H는 홈(Home), 현대카드O는 오일(Oil), 현대카드S는 쇼핑(Shopping), 현대카드T는 트래블(Travel)을 뜻한다. 알파벳 이니셜로 라이프스타일을 표현한 알파벳카드와의 11년 만의 재회다.
현대카드는 개인별 소비 패턴에 맞춤화된 혜택을 제공하고, 이를 통해 회원들의 선택권을 확대하기 위해 알파벳카드 5종을 새롭게 선보이게 됐다고 설명했다.
알파벳카드 5종은 편의성과 혜택이 한층 강화된 것이 특징이다. 5종 모두 할인카드로, 복잡한 절차 없이 알아서 일괄적으로 할인이 적용되는 편리한 청구할인 방식을 택했다.
각각 외식, 병원∙교육, 주유, 쇼핑, 여행 등 5가지 라이프스타일에 대해 10%의 할인율 및 연간 최대 60만원의 높은 할인 한도를 제공하고, 실적 조건과 한도 제한 없이 할인해주는 것도 강점이다. 연회비는 모두 1만5000원이다.
