정부가 16일 ‘행정수도 세종 완성’을 국정과제로 확정한 것에 대해 세종시가 환영의 뜻을 나타냈다.
최민호 세종시장은 이날 보도자료를 통해 "오늘 세종에서 처음 열린 국무회의에서 정부의 행정수도 세종 완성 의지를 재확인할 수 있었다"며 "이는 해양수산부 부산 이전 등 어려운 여건 속에서도 시민 모두가 노력해 온 결과라는 점에서 기쁘게 생각한다"고 밝혔다.

또 "이제 행정수도 세종 완성을 국가의 대전환과 도약의 핵심과제로 인식하고 정부와 정치권의 초당적 협력과 국민적 합의를 바탕으로 실질적인 개헌 논의를 시작해야 할 때"라고 강조했다.
