세종시가 여름철 집중호우로 피해를 입은 주민들에게 추석 전 긴급지원금을 신속하게 지급한다.
세종시는 지난 7월 중순 내린 기록적 폭우로 피해를 본 시민들의 조속한 생활 안정을 위해 총 5억 4649만 8000원의 재난지원금을 명절 전 지급한다고 16일 밝혔다.
지난 7월 16일부터 20일까지 세종 전역에는 최대 417㎜의 집중호우가 쏟아져 주택과 소상공인 점포 침수 등 사유재산 피해 36건이 발생했으며, 4.1㏊ 규모의 농경지가 침수·유실되는 피해를 입었다.
피해 규모는 사유시설 약 38억 원, 공공시설까지 합산하면 총 62억 원에 이르는 것으로 조사됐다.
이번에 지급되는 긴급지원금은 주택 침수 피해 주민, 소상공인, 농업인 등 대상자에게 위로금 성격을 포함해 차등 지급된다. 전체 지원금은 국비 3억 7171만 4000원과 시비 1억 7478만 4000원으로 조성됐다.
