【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 '2025년 중구청년의 날 행사'를 개최한다고 17일 밝혔다.
오는 20일 오후 2시부터 10시까지 2·28기념중앙공원 일원에서 펼쳐지는 축제는 오후 3시 청년 연합 뮤지컬 갈라쇼로 시작한다.
메인무대에서는 턱걸이 챌린지와 스포츠 스태킹 등 '청년노리터' 프로그램을 비롯해 청년 예술인 공연, '중구 갓탤런트' 경연, 개그우먼 박세미의 토크쇼, 래퍼 디핵의 초청공연까지 다채로운 무대가 이어진다.
공원 입구에서는 동성로 청년 버스킹 팀이 공연을 펼쳐 도심 속 음악축제 분위기를 더한다. 행사장 곳곳에는 제로웨이스트와 업사이클링, 퍼스널 컬러 진단, 캐리커처 등 청년 트렌드를 반영한 체험 부스 15개가 운영되며, 소형 텐트와 빈백을 배치한 피크닉존도 마련된다.
참여형 이벤트도 풍성하다. '히든 청년 찾기' 미션 RPG 게임과 현장 퀴즈, SNS 이벤트 등이 준비돼 청년들의 적극적인 참여를 유도하고 경품도 증정한다.
눈길을 끄는 것은 '중구 갓탤런트' 경연이다. 대구에 거주하는 만 19~39세 청년이라면 누구나 참가할 수 있으며, 예선을 통과한 10개 팀이 본선 무대에 오른다. 대상 100만 원을 비롯해 총상금 200만 원 규모의 시상이 이뤄진다.
류규하 구청장은 "올해는 동성로 르네상스의 일환으로 새롭게 조성된 2·28기념중앙공원에서 행사를 열게 돼 더욱 뜻깊다"며 "청년들이 잠시 고민을 내려놓고 즐기며 활력을 얻는 축제가 되길 바란다"고 말했다.

Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha said, "This year's event is even more meaningful as it will be held at the newly created 2/28 Memorial Central Park as part of the Dongseong-ro Renaissance. I hope this festival will allow young people to put aside their worries, have fun, and find energy."
