【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구는 (사)한국문화가치연구협회가 주관한 ‘2025년 제6회 한국문화가치대상’에서 우수상을 수상했다고 18일 밝혔다.
한국문화가치대상은 지자체의 문화 관련 공약사업과 정책을 평가해 특색 있는 문화관광 정책을 꾸준히 추진해 온 지자체에 수여하는 상이다.
중구는 2020년부터 2022년까지 3년 연속 우수상을 받았고, 지난해에는 최우수상을 수상한 데 이어 올해 다시 우수상을 차지하며 5년 연속 수상 기록을 세웠다.
이번 평가에서 중구는 생활문화 활성화사업에서 높은 점수를 받았다. 중구생활문화센터 조성과 김광석길 영화관, 문화가 있는 날 운영 등이 대표적이다.
북성로 문화사업으로는 중구 100년 사진전과 예술놀이터 운영이 주목받았다.
문화예술 접근성 확대 부문에서도 좋은 평가를 받았다. 봉산문화회관의 전시와 공연을 확대해 주민들의 일상 속 문화 향유 기회를 넓힌 점이 인정받았다.
류규하 중구청장은 "올해도 좋은 성과를 거두게 되어 기쁘다"며 "앞으로도 원도심의 고유한 문화자산을 기반으로 주민 모두가 쉽게 문화를 접하고 삶의 질을 높일 수 있는 정책을 이어가겠다"고 말했다.

Among the cultural projects on Bukseong-ro, the Jung-gu 100th Anniversary Photo Exhibition and the operation of the Art Playground garnered attention.
The district also received positive reviews for expanding access to culture and arts. The district was recognized for expanding exhibitions and performances at the Bongsan Cultural Center, broadening opportunities for residents to enjoy culture in their daily lives.
Jung-gu District Mayor Ryu Gyu-ha said, "I am pleased to have achieved good results this year as well," and added, "We will continue to implement policies that allow all residents to easily access culture and improve their quality of life based on the unique cultural assets of the downtown area."
