한국예총 대전광역시연합회(회장 성낙원, 이하 대전예총)가 주최하고 대전광역시가 후원하는 제10회 대전국제예술제가 오는 9월 24일부터 28일까지 대전 곳곳에서 열린다.
이번 예술제는 ‘예술아! 날자, 세계로~’를 슬로건으로, 전시·공연·체험·토론회 등 다양한 프로그램을 통해 시민과 예술인이 함께 어울리는 국제 문화예술 축제가 될 전망이다.
첫날인 24일 개막과 함께 대전예술가의집 전시실에서는 예술공헌기업 창작지원 수상자 김대호(서양화), 박양준(서예), 김수연(사진)의 작품 전시가 시작된다. 여기에 중국 예술작가들의 작품 140여 점을 선보이는 한·중 국제예술 초청전과, 6대 광역시 및 제주특별자치도의 사진교류전(105점)도 마련돼 국내외 예술 교류의 장을 제공한다.
무대 공연은 25일부터 대전시립미술관 특설무대에서 이어진다.

예술제 기간에는 시민을 대상으로 한 체험부스가 운영돼 예술 체험, 프리마켓, 예술인 상담, 법률상담 등 즐겁고 유익한 시간을 제공할 예정이다. 특히 주말에는 가족 단위 관람객을 위한 프로그램이 집중 편성돼 현장을 찾는 시민들의 호응이 기대된다.
또한 26일에는 예술의전당 컨벤션홀에서 청렴 정책토론회와 초청 강의가 열린다. 이날 토론회는 시민이 직접 참여하는 방식으로 진행되며, 문화예술인을 위한 ‘퍼스널 브랜딩 클래스’도 함께 운영돼 실질적인 정보를 제공한다.
성낙원 대전예총 회장은 “제10회 대전국제예술제는 대전의 예술문화 발전을 함께해 온 지역 예술인과 시민이 함께하는 축제로 준비됐다”며 “9개 협회의 특성을 살린 다채로운 예술 콘텐츠를 통해 예술의 가치를 발전시키고, ‘시민이 행복한 글로벌 예술문화 도시 대전’을 만들어가겠다”고 말했다.
