(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평구가 지난 17일 지역 내 라페니체 웨딩홀에서 통장 229명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2025년 통장 역량강화 워크숍’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, 이번 워크숍은 행정의 최일선에서 일하는 통장의 역량을 강화하고, 소통의 기회를 늘리고자 마련됐다.
통장들은 이날 각 동의 리더로서의 역할을 강조한 특강 ‘지역리더의 리더십과 공감하는 소통’을 듣고, 이와 관련해 서로 이야기하는 시간을 가졌다.
박영택 통장연합회장은 “이번 워크숍을 통해 친목과 화합을 다질 수 있었다”며 “주민을 위한 봉사자로서 책임을 다짐했다”고 밝혔다.
차준택 구청장은 “어렵고 힘든 일에도 솔선수범하며 노력하시는 통장님들께 항상 감사한 마음”이라며 “이번 워크숍을 소통과 화합의 기회로 삼아 지역 발전의 든든한 동반자가 돼 주시기를 바란다”고 말했다.

또한, 부평구가 18일 영선초등학교 앞에서 ‘어린이 교통안전 캠페인’을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
부평구에 따르면, 이번 캠페인은 2학기 개학을 맞아 어린이 교통사고를 예방하는 취지에서 진행됐다.
차준택 구청장을 비롯해 구, 구의회, 삼산경찰서, 북부교육지원청, 삼산녹색어머니연합회, 삼산모범운전자회 관계자가 이날 행사에 참여했다.
참여자들은 어린이들에게 ‘서다·보다·걷다’ 보행 3원칙을 안내했다.
또, 운전자에게는 시속 30km 서행, 주·정차 금지, 횡단보도 앞 일시정지 등 ‘아이먼저, 안전먼저’ 원칙 실천을 홍보하며 어린이 교통안전 문화 정착에 힘썼다.
