추석 명절을 앞두고 세종시 해밀동통장협의회가 18일 깨끗하고 쾌적한 명절 분위기 조성을 위해 환경정화활동을 펼쳤다.
세종시에 따르면 이날 해밀동통장협의회는 간선급행버스체계(BRT) 도로 주변 상가와 공터 등에 무단으로 투기된 쓰레기를 정비했다.
해밀동통장협의회는 오는 20일에도 해밀동자율방재단에서 호우 대비 원사천 산책로 및 주요 배수로에 쌓인 퇴적물을 제거할 예정이다.
해밀동통장협의회 및 자율방재단은 깨끗하고 살기좋은 마을을 만들기 위해 정기적으로 관내 환경정화활동을 자체 추진하고 있다.
한재일 해밀동장은 “민족대명절이자 가을 수확의 기쁨을 나누는 추석을 맞아 주민 스스로 마을을 위해 환경정화활동에 나서 주셔서 감사하다”며 소통하고 살기 좋은 해밀동을 만들기 위해 주민 여러분과 함께 하겠다”고 말했다.
