재한베트남여성연합회(회장 이홍옥)는 지난 20일 오후 서울 종로구 글로벌센터 4층에서 추석을 맞아 복지법인 사랑나눔 이사장 신현옥 목사를 초청해 따뜻한 나눔 행사를 진행했다.

이번 행사는 한국 베트남 가정을 비롯한 결혼 이민자와 자녀들이 함께 모여 한국의 추석과 베트남 전통 명절 문화를 공유하며, 서로의 문화를 이해하고 나누는 자리로 꾸려졌다.
이날 행사에서 자전거 30대와 어린이 양말 300켤레, 남녀 고급 화장품 10세트가 전달돼 참석자들에게 훈훈한 감동을 주었다.
신현옥 이사장은 축사에서 “정다운 가족과 함께하는 즐거운 추석에 귀한 자리에 초청해주셔서 감사하다”며 “추석은 어린이에 대한 관심과 사랑을 나타내는 날로, 한국의 어린이날과 비슷하다. 아이들이 소외되지 않고 밝고 건강하게 자라기를 소망한다”고 전했다.

이어 “올해도 고향의 가족을 직접 만나기는 어렵겠지만, 몸은 멀리 있어도 마음만은 더욱 가까이하며 넉넉한 명절 보내시기를 바란다”고 덧붙였다.
또 신 목사는 “뜻깊은 행사에 함께할 수 있어 기쁘다. 무엇보다 아이들에게 꿈과 희망을 심어줄 수 있어 보람된다”며 나눔의 의미를 강조했다.
이어 이홍옥 회장의 인사말을 시작으로 후원 단체 대표들의 환영 인사, 결혼이민자들의 한국생활 경험 공유, 자녀와 함께하는 명절 등불 만들기와 전래놀이, 베트남 전통 다과 나눔 등 다채로운 프로그램으로 이어졌다.
이날 행사는 대한민국 민족 최대의 명절 추석을 맞아 서로 다른 문화를 이해하고, 이주민 가정과 지역사회가 따뜻한 정을 나누는 뜻깊은 시간이 되었다.
특히 복지법인 사랑나눔의 후원과 신현옥 목사의 참여로, 어려운 여건 속에서도 아이들과 가정에 희망을 전하는 자리가 마련되었다는 점에서 큰 의미를 남겼다.
