지난 20일, 보성군은 벌교읍 장양어촌체험마을 일원에서 열린 '2025 보성벌교 갯뻘축제'가 주민과 관광객의 뜨거운 참여 속에 성공적으로 막을 내렸다고 밝혔다.
올해 축제는 '뻘에서 놀자!'라는 주제 아래, 갯벌의 생태적·문화적 가치를 직접 느끼고 배울 수 있는 다양한 프로그램들로 가득 채워졌다.
개회식에서는 보성벌교갯벌을 대표하는 새로 '알락꼬리마도요'가 깃대종으로 선포되었다. 참가자들은 종이 새를 날리는 퍼포먼스를 통해 갯벌 생태계 보전에 대한 의지를 다지며 의미 있는 시간을 보냈다.
