파주시는 오는 29일 시민들과 함께하는 문산도서관 개관식을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
구 문산도서관(개포래로 42)은 30여 년간 지역 주민들과 함께하며 추억을 남기고 문을 닫았으며, 새 도서관은 당동리 문화공원(방촌로 1671)에 새로 건축돼 문을 연다.

새롭게 개관하는 문산도서관은 연면적 약 5,450㎡ 규모(지하 1층, 지상 3층)로 최신 도서관 트렌드를 반영한 개방형 공간으로 꾸며졌다.

특히 공원 내 도서관이라는 입지를 활용해 자연 친화적 공간으로 조성됐고, 어린이와 장애인을 포함한 누구나 제약 없이 이용할 수 있도록 무장애(유니버설) 디자인을 적용했다.
개관식 당일에는 기념식과 더불어 가을 저녁 노을에 어울리는 재즈 공연이 마련된다.
이어 9월 30일부터는 ▲‘묶는 일, 푸는 마음’ ▲‘달고 붉은 이슬, 감홍로 이야기’ ▲‘이상구 도예가의 기획전: 평화로 가는 길’ 등 전시와 ▲‘볼로냐 라가치상 수상 작가와 함께 그리는 문산도서관’ ▲‘이상한 나라에서 왔습니다’ 등 다양한 프로그램이 운영될 예정이다.
