(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 23일, 2025학년도 2학기부터 공교육 최초로 중·고등학교 수학 서술·논술형 인공지능(AI) 자동 채점 시스템을 시범 운영한다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 사업은 객관식 중심의 평가를 넘어 학생의 사고력·창의력·논리력을 종합적으로 평가하기 위해 도입했다.
인공지능(AI) 자동 채점 시스템은 정답 여부뿐 아니라 풀이 과정의 논리 전개와 수학적 사고 과정을 분석해 채점의 객관성을 높이고, 결과를 신속히 제공해 학생이 스스로 학습을 보완할 수 있도록 돕는다.
또, 교사들의 채점 업무 부담도 줄여 수업과 학생상담에 집중할 수 있는 환경에도 도움이 될것으로 기대하고 있다.
해당 시스템은 인천시교육청과 AI융합교육원, 에듀테크 기업 ‘진단수학’이 공동 개발했으며, 그간 인천 지역 중·고등학생을 대상으로 운영해 온 ‘AI 온라인 수학 프로그램’에 적용된다.
수업과 연계해 학생별 학습 지원과 보충 지도를 이어갈 수 있는 체계를 갖춘 것이 특징으로, 시범 운영은 신청 학교를 대상으로 먼저 시행되며, 이후 전체 중·고등학교로 확대할 예정이다.
