인천시교육청에 따르면, ‘읽걷쓰’교육은 지속가능발전목표(SDGs)와 인공지능(AI) 시대에 필요한 미래 교육으로, 학생들이 삶과 연결된 배움을 통해 ‘관찰·질문·탐구·행동’의 역량을 기르도록 지원하고 있다.
이번 단행본은 ‘읽걷쓰’교육 현장지원단 교사 26명이 집필에 참여했으며, SDGs로 읽걷쓰하기 수업 백과, AI와 읽걷쓰하기 수업 백과, 4P 학습역량을 키우는 읽걷쓰 수업 백과 등 3권으로 구성됐다.
앞서 인천시교육청은 읽걷쓰와 창의력(초4), 읽걷쓰와 지속가능발전(중1), 읽걷쓰와 인공지능(중2), 읽걷쓰 기반 지속가능발전 탐구(고), 읽걷쓰 기반 인공지능 탐구(고) 등 5개 과목의 교육과정을 개발해 현장에 보급한 바 있다.
읽걷쓰 수업 백과와 과목 자료는 인천교육플랫폼에서 전자책 형태로 열람 및 내려받기가 가능하다.
