세종시가 23일 시청 책문화센터에서 ‘2025 세종시민안전포럼’을 개최했다.
‘세종시, 안전도시를 넘어 복원력 중심 도시로’를 주제로 열린 이번 포럼에서는 시민·전문가·유관기관 관계자 등 50여 명이 참석해 도시 안전의 비전과 전략을 모색했다.
또 송양호 세종평생교육·정책연구원 책임연구위원이 인공지능(AI)와 사물인터넷(IoT)을 활용한 지능형 안전관리 전략, 주재성 도시안전연구센터 전문연구위원이 지역안전지수 기반 안전사업지구 과제와 추진 전략을 발표했다.
최유라 도시안전연구센터 전문연구위원도 재난 회복력 중심의 안전정책 과제를 소개했다.
이어진 종합토론에서는 시의회와 국토·환경·주택 등 관련 연구기관 전문가들이 참여해 ▲첨단 기술을 활용한 재난예방 ▲재난취약계층 보호 ▲지역 맞춤형 안전사업 발굴 등을 논의했다.
시는 이번 포럼을 계기로 지능형 관제시스템 확충, 안전취약계층 보호, 시민주도형 안전사업 등 다층적인 안전 정책을 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
김하균 행정부시장은 “우리시는 이제 재난 대응을 넘어 위기에 강하고 빠르게 회복할 수 있는 복원력 중심의 안전도시로 도약해야 한다”며 “오늘 포럼에서 제시된 다양한 의견과 정책 대안은 시정에 적극 반영하겠다”고 말했다.
