[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시 진례면 주민들의 오랜 염원이던 부전-마산 복선전철 신월역 신설사업이 드디어 첫 발을 내디뎠다.
김해시는 24일 오전 10시 진례면 신월리 일원에서 열린 기공식에는 홍태용 김해시장, 민홍철·김정호 국회의원을 비롯해 150여 명의 관계자와 주민들이 참석해 뜻깊은 시작을 함께했다.
2027년 개통을 목표로 추진되는 신월역은 진례면 신월리 2만300㎡ 부지에 지상역사, 지하연결통로, 승강장 등을 갖춘 규모로 총사업비 446억 원이 투입된다. 이번 사업은 지역 발전에 중대한 전환점이 될 것으로 기대된다.
