국내 1위 도료업체 KCC가 자율주행 물류로봇(AGV·AMR) 시대에 발맞춰 스마트 바닥재 시장 공략에 본격 나섰다. KCC는 25일 ‘KCC 스마트 테크 클럽(KCC SMART TECH CLUB)’을 공식 출범시키고, 스마트 바닥재 전문 파트너사들과 함께 발대식을 열었다고 밝혔다.
이번 프로그램은 스마트 팩토리와 물류 자동화 창고 수요 확대에 대응해 기획됐다. AGV와 AMR은 자체 무게가 1~5톤에 이르고 동일 경로를 반복 운행하기 때문에 바닥 손상이 잦고, 마찰로 인한 정전기 발생은 로봇 오작동으로 이어질 수 있다. 이 때문에 전용 바닥재와 고품질 시공의 필요성이 꾸준히 제기돼 왔다.
