브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 노동진 수협중앙회장이 추석 명절을 앞두고 수산물 가격 안정을 위해 현장 점검에 나섰다.
수협은 29일 노동진 회장이 서울 노량진수산시장을 방문해 수산물 유통 및 가격 동향을 파악하고 상인들과 의견을 나눴다고 밝혔다.
노동진 회장은 이 자리에서 비축 수산물을 직접 구매하며 “명절을 전후해 수산물 수요가 집중되는 만큼, 적기 공급으로 가격 안정에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
수협은 갈치·참조기 등 대중 어종을 중심으로 정부 비축 물량 1만3500t을 다음 달까지 시중가 대비 최대 30% 저렴하게 공급한다. 이는 올해 설 명절 대비 20%가량 늘어난 물량이다.
또한 온·오프라인을 통한 대규모 할인 행사도 병행된다. 신세계·롯데백화점 특설 매장에서는 10월 4일까지 굴비 등 선물세트를 할인 판매하며, 수협쇼핑에서는 10월 12일까지 굴비·전복·갈치 등을 최대 46% 저렴하게 선보인다.
