브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 대우건설은 지난 27일 청파1구역 주택재개발정비사업 정기총회에서 시공사로 선정됐다고 29일 밝혔다.
이 사업은 서울 용산구 청파동2가 11-1번지 일대에 지하 5층~지상 25층 10개동 공동주택 626세대 및 부대복리시설을 신축하는 사업으로 공사비는 3556억원(VAT 별도) 규모다.
대우건설은 하이엔드 브랜드 ‘써밋’을 적용해 단지명을 ‘루이리스 써밋’으로 제안했다. 루이리스 써밋은 Royal(왕실)과 프랑스 왕실의 상징 Lis(백합)를 결합한 네이밍으로, 프랑스의 건축 거장인 장 미셸 빌모트와의 협업을 통해 프랑스 왕실의 품격을 담은 랜드마크를 짓겠다는 의지를 담았다고 대우건설은 설명했다.
대우건설 관계자는 “대한민국 주택공급 1위의 명성에 걸맞는 정비사업 수행경험과 차별화된 시공능력을 기반으로 청파1구역이 서울 도심의 새로운 랜드마크가 될 수 있도록 주거명작을 완성하겠다”고 말했다.
한편 대우건설은 지난 27일 같은 날 개최된 ‘문래동4가 재개발’ 총회에서도 삼성물산과 컨소시엄을 이뤄 시공사로 선정됐다. 이로써 대우건설은 올해 정비사업 부문에서 총 6개 단지에서 1조8717억원의 수주고를 달성했다. 올해 영등포 유원제일2차 등 서울·수도권 우량 사업지에서의 지속적인 수주를 추진할 계획이다.
