【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 북구청과 북구문화원이 '스토리가 있는 재미있는 문화유산탐방' 프로그램을 진행했다고 30일 밝혔다.
지난 26일 북구문화원과 지역주민 40여 명이 참가한 탐방은 송은석 전문 문화해설사와 함께 오봉오거리 폭포 앞과 침산정 일대를 한 바퀴 도는 코스로 꾸려졌다.
참가자들은 대구십경으로 손꼽히는 침산과 신천·금호강 일대와 관련된 다양한 역사와 이야기를 향토사학자의 해설을 통해 배웠다.
탐방에서는 대구 산업화의 출발점이 된 북구와 침산동·고성동·칠성동 이야기, 자연과 함께하는 신천과 금호강의 풍경 등 다양한 역사 현장을 직접 둘러보며 배우는 시간이 마련됐다.
이연희 북구문화원장은 "침산동은 북구의 역사와 문화가 응축된 공간으로, 산업화와 생활문화의 발자취가 곳곳에 남아 있다"며 "이번 탐방을 통해 주민들이 북구의 역사와 문화를 이해하고 애정을 갖는 계기가 되길 바란다"고 말했다.
배광식 북구청장은 "지역 주민들이 직접 발로 걸으며 우리 지역의 역사와 문화적 자산을 체험하는 뜻깊은 시간이 될 것"이라며 "앞으로도 북구의 문화유산을 재조명하고 지역 정체성을 강화하는 다양한 프로그램을 지속적으로 지원해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.

The tour provided hands-on learning opportunities to visit and learn about various historical sites, including the stories of Buk-gu, Chimsan-dong, Goseong-dong, and Chilseong-dong, which served as the starting point of Daegu's industrialization, and the natural beauty of the Sincheon and Geumho Rivers.
Lee Yeon-hee, director of the Buk-gu Cultural Center, said, "Chimsan-dong is a condensed space of Buk-gu's history and culture, with traces of industrialization and lifestyles remaining throughout the area. I hope this tour will provide residents with an opportunity to understand and appreciate the history and culture of Buk-gu."
Buk-gu Mayor Bae Gwang-sik stated, "This will be a meaningful opportunity for local residents to experience our region's history and cultural assets firsthand. We will continue to support various programs that shed light on Buk-gu's cultural heritage and strengthen its regional identity."
