【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=대구 중구가 추석 연휴를 맞아 근대골목과 동성로 일대에서 전통문화 체험부터 도심 축제까지 다채로운 프로그램을 준비했다.

먼저 5일부터 8일까지 근대골목 일원에서는 가족 단위 관광객과 귀성객을 위한 전통문화 체험 행사가 열린다.
계산예가와 이상화·서상돈 고택에서는 윷놀이, 제기차기, 투호, 고리 던지기 등 전통 민속놀이와 한복(근대복) 체험, 전통 엿 만들기 체험이 마련된다.
한가위 소망을 담는 '보름달 소원 한가득' 이벤트, 룰렛 게임, 청라버스 포토존, 풍선 만들기, 아트체험(달등·종이집 만들기 등)도 준비돼 온 가족이 함께 즐길 수 있다. 청라언덕관광센터 2층 관광객 쉼터에서는 가족과 함께 인기 영화 알라딘을 관람하며 편안히 쉴 수 있는 문화공간도 제공된다.
연휴 기간에도 5개 관광안내소(계산예가, 약령시, 김광석길, 메트로센터, 청라언덕관광센터)를 정상 운영하고, 골목문화해설사를 배치해 국내외 방문객에게 근대골목 해설 서비스를 제공한다. 다만 추석 당일인 10월 6일은 오전 11시부터 오후 6시까지 운영시간이 조정된다.

동성로에서는 3일부터 12일까지 10일간 보행자전용도로 일원에서 '동성로에서 놀며 장보자!'라는 주제로 '2025 추석맞이 동성로 놀장 축제'가 펼쳐진다.
'동성로 놀장'은 2024년 7월 동성로 관광특구 지정 이후 국내외 관광객 유치와 지역경제 활성화를 위해 지난 5월부터 운영되고 있으며, 동성로상점가상인회가 주최·주관하고 대구 중구청이 후원한다. 이번 축제는 주말 상설 마켓 형태로 운영돼 온 놀장을 추석 연휴 기간 특별 운영하는 것이다.
'누구나 놀고 즐기고 쉬어갈 수 있는 장'을 뜻하는 놀장에서는 지역 상인 판매 부스와 다양한 먹거리, 기업 홍보 부스가 운영된다. 추석 특집 테마 이벤트로 음악 DJ박스, 전자다트 게임, 도전 10초(순발력 게임), K-팝 댄스, 통통통 잡아라, 동성로 리빙랩 실행프로젝트 등이 마련된다.
거리 공연, 거리 피아노, 전통놀이 체험, 송편 만들기 대회, 한복 착용 이벤트, 국악 공연 등 풍성한 프로그램이 진행돼 도심 속 특별한 문화놀이터로 거듭날 예정이다.
류규하 중구청장은 "추석 연휴에 귀성객과 관광객 모두가 근대골목과 동성로에서 특별한 명절 분위기를 만끽하길 바란다"며 "중구의 역사와 문화를 체험하고, 장도 보고 공연도 즐기며 소중한 추억을 만들어 가시길 바란다"고 말했다.
