이날 표창은 지역사회 봉사와 안전 활동, 군정 협력에 앞장선 민간인 28명과 직무에서 모범을 보인 공무원 11명, 그리고 방문 친절도 모니터링에서 우수한 평가를 받은 홍보소통과·가족지원과·농업기술과·지품면 등 4개 부서에 각각 수여됐다.
민간인 수상자들은 주민 복지 증진과 지역 화합은 물론, 산불·재난 상황에서 주민 대피를 돕고 안전한 생활환경 조성에 기여한 공로가 인정됐다. 공무원 수상자들은 성실과 책임감을 바탕으로 부서 현안을 해결하고 군정 성과 창출에 힘쓴 점이 높이 평가됐다. 수상 부서들 역시 친절한 민원 응대와 적극적인 홍보 활동을 통해 군민 만족도를 높인 성과를 인정받았다.
김광열 영덕군수는 “군정 발전은 행정만으로 이뤄질 수 있는 것이 아니라 군민과 공무원이 함께 협력해야 가능한 성과”라며 “앞으로도 군민과의 소통과 협력을 통해 ‘살기 좋은 영덕, 미래가 있는 영덕’을 실현해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
한편, 영덕군은 매 분기 군정 발전 유공자를 발굴해 표창을 이어오고 있으며, 안전·복지·경제·문화 등 다양한 분야에서 성과를 내고 있는 숨은 주역들을 지속적으로 조명할 계획이다.

Yeongdeok County Honors 39 Civilians and Public Officials for Their Contributions to County Development
Yeongdeok County held a ceremony at the county office on the 1st to recognize the contributions of residents and public officials to the county's development in the third quarter of this year.
