【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시가 오는 10월 25일 토요일 탄금공원 일원에서 반려동물과 반려인이 함께 즐길 수 있는 특별한 축제 ‘2025년 충주 댕냥이 명랑운동회’를 개최한다.
이번 행사는 지난해에 이어 충북 최초로 충주시가 마련한 반려동물 축제로, 올바른 펫티켓 문화 확산과 반려·비반려인이 함께 참여하는 문화행사로 기획됐다.
시는 이번 축제를 통해 반려동물 보호에 대한 공감대를 형성하고 건강한 반려문화를 정착시키는 계기를 마련한다는 방침이다.
주요 프로그램은 △이웅종 훈련사의 토크콘서트와 도그쇼 △반려동물 패션쇼 & 장기 자랑 △기다려, 달리기, OX 퀴즈 등 명랑운동회로 구성되며, 남녀노소 누구나 참여할 수 있는 시민 참여형 행사로 진행된다.
그중 기다려·달리기 등 명랑운동회는 현장 참여 방식으로 운영된다.
이날 행사장에는 반려동물 무료 건강상담과 행동 교정, 기초 미용 서비스, 수제 간식 및 인식표 만들기, 고양이풀 키우기 등 체험 부스와 더불어 동물보호 캠페인 홍보 부스도 운영될 예정이다.
또한 당일 이벤트로는 모바일 앱 ‘워크온(WalkOn)’을 활용한 ‘반려견과 함께 캐릭터 잡기 챌린지’와 행사장 주변 환경 정화를 위한 ‘플로깅’ 활동이 동시에 진행되며, 참여자에게는 기념품도 제공된다.
