파주시는 오는 14일부터 운정호수공원 내 ‘피크닉장’을 시범 운영한다고 밝혔다.

이번 개장은 시민에게 쾌적한 휴식과 여가 공간을 제공하고 가족 단위와 소규모 모임을 위한 도심 속 휴식 공간을 조성하기 위해 추진됐다.
운정호수공원 피크닉장은 온라인 사전 예약제로 운영된다.
개장 첫 주 예약은 10월 2일 18시부터 6일 오전 9시 59분까지 진행됐으며, 이후에는 이용일 2주 전부터 예약이 가능하다.
예약은 파주시청 누리집 문화관광 게시판 내 ‘피크닉장 예약’ 항목을 통해 접수할 수 있다.
이곳은 연중 운영되며, 매주 월요일은 정기 휴무일로 지정됐다.
오전과 오후 두 차례로 나뉘어 운영되며 총 5개동이 마련되어 있다.
한 동당 최대 8명까지 이용이 가능해 가족 단위 또는 소규모 모임이 편안하게 이용할 수 있다.
피크닉장 주변에는 바닥분수와 호수 전망 산책로가 인접해 있어 도심 속에서도 자연과 함께 휴식을 즐길 수 있다.
파주시는 온라인 예약제를 통해 공간을 효율적으로 관리하는 동시에 연말까지 시범 운영을 거쳐 시민 의견을 수렴한 후 정식 운영 방안을 마련할 계획이다.
