고양특례시가 후원하고 사단법인 한국예술문화단체총연합회 고양지회가 주최하며 사단법인 대한무용협회 고양지부에서 주관하는 ‘제29회 고양 춤 페스티벌’이 오는 11일 일산문화공원 야외무대에서 열린다.

이번 행사는 세대를 아우르는 다양한 장르의 춤 공연과 시민이 함께 참여하는 체험 프로그램을 통해 모두가 하나가 되는 야외 댄스 페스티벌로 마련됐다.
전통무용, 창작무용, 부채춤 등 다채로운 공연과 함께, 랜덤플레이댄스, 페이스페인팅, 부채춤 체험 등 시민 참여형 프로그램도 준비되어 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있다.
본 공연은 총 2회로 진행된다.
오후 4시 ‘우리의 춤, 삶의 무대’에서는 지역 무용단이 시민과 함께 어울리는 무대를 선보이며, 오후 5시 30분 ‘예술의 춤, 빛의 무대’에서는 고양시 무용단과 더불어 서경대학교 무용단, 김백봉부채춤무용단 등 외부 초청 단체가 출연해 다채롭고 수준 높은 무대를 펼친다.
이외에도 오전 11시부터는 시민들이 직접 참여할 수 있는 체험 부스가 운영되며, 오후 5시에는 K-pop을 배경으로 한 ‘랜덤 플레이댄스’ 시민 참여 프로그램이 이어져 축제의 흥을 더할 예정이다.
장미영 사단법인 대한무용협회 고양지부장은 “올해 고양 춤 페스티벌은 실내 공연장이 아닌 야외 광장에서 시민들과 더욱 가까이 소통할 수 있도록 준비했다”며, “고양시민 모두가 춤을 통해 어울리고, 무용의 매력을 새롭게 발견하는 시간이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
시 관계자는 “한국무용, 현대무용, 창작무용 등 아름다운 무용 장르와 시민 참여 프로그램이 어우러진 이번 축제를 통해, 일상 속에서 힐링과 즐거움을 느끼기를 바란다”고 전했다.
