[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산시는 제106회 전국체육대회 기간을 앞두고 원활한 교통 서비스 제공과 '선진 교통도시 부산'의 이미지를 제고하기 위해 대규모 캠페인과 이벤트를 진행했다.
시는 14일 오전 8시부터 서면교차로에서 부산교통공사, 버스·마을버스조합 등 관계자 120여 명과 함께 '전국체전 기간 차량 2부제(자율) 참여와 대중교통 이용 홍보'를 위한 거리 캠페인을 펼치고, 시민들의 자율적인 차량 2부제 참여와 대중교통 이용을 적극적으로 독려했다.

캠페인 참가자들은 시민들에게 장바구니와 대중교통 엽서 등의 기념품을 배부하며 차량 2부제 자율 참여와 도시철도·버스 등 대중교통 이용을 홍보했다. 이 행사는 성공적인 대회 개최와 원활한 차량 소통을 지원하고, 부산을 찾는 방문객들에게 선진 교통도시 부산의 이미지를 알리기 위해 마련됐다.
전국체전 기간, 자율 차량 2부제와 교통안전 수칙 준수
거리 캠페인의 주요 내용은 전국체전 기간인 17일부터 23일까지 시민들의 자율 차량 2부제 참여와 대중교통 이용, 그리고 교통안전 수칙 준수에 관한 것이었다.
차량 2부제(자율): 전국체전 기간 7일 동안 오전 7시부터 오후 8시까지 시 전역에서 시민 자율 참여에 기반한 차량 2부제가 운영된다. 적용 대상은 10인승 이하 비영업용 승용차 및 승합차이며, 차량 끝 번호가 홀수인 날은 홀수 차량의 운행을 제한하고, 짝수인 날은 짝수 차량의 운행을 제한하는 방식이다. 다만, 장애인·국가유공자 차량, 긴급용 차량, 타 시도 차량 등은 제외된다.
대중교통 이용 및 안전 수칙: 시는 버스와 도시철도의 편리함을 홍보하고, 승용차 대신 대중교통을 이용해 줄 것을 적극적으로 권장했다. 또한, 무단횡단 금지, 신호 및 제한속도 준수, 보행자 우선 배려 운전 등 시민 생활 속 교통문화 실천을 중점적으로 안내했다.

Focus on Voluntary Alternate Day Driving and Traffic Safety Compliance
The main messages of the street campaign centered on promoting citizens' voluntary participation in the Alternate Day Driving System, using public transportation, and complying with traffic safety rules during the National Sports Festival period, which runs from October 17th to October 23rd.
Voluntary Alternate Day Driving System: For seven days during the Games, a voluntary Alternate Day Driving System will be in effect across the city from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The system applies to non-commercial sedans and vans with a seating capacity of 10 or less. Vehicles with odd-ending license plate numbers are restricted on odd-numbered dates, and those with even-ending numbers are restricted on even-numbered dates. Certain vehicles are exempt, including those for disabled persons/national merit contributors, emergency/diplomatic/media use, and vehicles transporting pregnant women/infants/toddlers, as well as those registered outside of Busan.
Public Transit Use & Safety Rules: The city promoted the convenience of buses and subways, actively urging the public to use them instead of private cars. Emphasis was also placed on practicing safe driving within daily life, such as prohibiting jaywalking, adhering to signals and speed limits, and prioritizing pedestrians.
