세종시 소방본부는 14일 해밀동 원수산 일원에서 2025년 도시형 산림화재 대응 합동훈련을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
시 소방본부에 따르면 이번 훈련은 시민의 생명과 재산을 보호하기 위한 실전 대응 역량 강화를 목적으로 마련됐으며, 가을철 건조한 기후와 강풍으로 산림화재의 도심 주택단지 확산 상황을 가정해 이뤄졌다.
이날 훈련에는 세종소방본부를 비롯해 대전·충북·충남소방, 제32사단, 세종시청 사회재난과, 민간단체 등 7개 기관 100여 명이 참여했다.
훈련 장비는 펌프차 등 소방차와 레미콘, 살수차 등 24대 차량과 드론과 이동식 수조가 투입됐으며, 세종시 긴급구조통제단 및 통합지원본부를 가동해 재난대응 체계 운영능력을 점검했다.
특히 산불정책기술연구소 황정석 소장이 외부 전문가로 참여해 훈련 결과를 분석하고, 향후 세종시 특성에 맞는 맞춤형 산불 진압 전술을 마련하기로 했다.
박태원 세종소방본부장은 “이번 합동훈련은 기후변화로 인해 발생 위험이 높아진 도시형 산림화재에 효과적으로 대응하기 위한 실전 훈련”이라며 “민·관·군이 협력해 확산 차단과 소방용수 확보 전술을 숙달함으로써 시민의 안전을 지키는 데 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
