지난 14일 열린 국회 농림수산식품해양수산위원회 국정감사에서 강 의원은 농림축산식품부 송미령 장관을 상대로 국가전산망 마비 사태 당시 이재명 대통령이 K-푸드 홍보 예능을 촬영한 점을 지적하며 “한미 관세협상부터 제대로 마무리해야 하는 것 아니냐”고 질타했다.
또한 최근 미국 조지아주에서 발생한 구금 사태와 관련해, 현지 한국 식품기업 근로자들의 비자 현황을 의원실의 자료 요구 이후에야 뒤늦게 파악한 점을 강하게 비판했다.
이와 함께 강 의원은 △전력망 연계 신청 후 대기 중인 농가의 태양광 전력망 우선 해결 △농지면적 0.5ha 초과 시 면적직불금이 소농직불금보다 적은 불합리한 구간 개선 등을 주문하며 지역 현안도 꼼꼼히 챙겼다.
강 의원은 “국정감사에서 드러난 문제들을 끝까지 점검해 후속 입법과 정책 개선으로 실질적인 변화를 만들겠다”며 “지역 현장의 목소리가 국정 전반에 반영될 수 있도록 책임 있는 의정활동을 이어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
