[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시 상봉동 지역사회보장협의체는 15일 불편한 독거노인 가구를 방문해 LED 전등 교체와 전기 안전점검 봉사활동를 실천했다.
이번 봉사는 협의체 위원들의 자발적인 재능기부로 추진돼 지역사회에 따뜻한 감동을 전했다.
이번 활동에서 위원들은 어두운 조명으로 생활에 불편을 겪던노인 가정에 고효율 LED 전등을 설치하고, 벽면을 도배하는 등 쾌적한 주거환경을 조성했다.
또 지역사회보장협의체는 노후된 배선과 콘센트 상태를 세밀히 점검하며 전기화재 예방과 안전 확보를 위해 구슬땀을 흘렸다.
윤대성 위원장은 “작은 손길이지만 어르신들이 안전하고 편안하게 지내실 수 있기를 바란다”며 “앞으로도 맞춤형 복지활동을 꾸준히 이어가겠다”고 전했다.
최은영 상봉동장은 “세심한 봉사로 지역 어르신들의 삶의 질이 한층 향상됐다”며 “행정에서도 복지공동체 실현을 위해 지속적으로 지원하겠다”고 말했다.
