충남을 대표하는 주요 문화자원들이 문화체육관광부와 지역문화진흥원이 추진하는 ‘제2기 로컬100’ 사업 후보로 대거 선정됐다.
충청남도는 15일, 도내 문화자원 12건이 로컬100 후보에 포함됐다고 밝혔다. 이번 사업은 각 지역의 특색 있는 문화 자원을 발굴하고 이를 전국적으로 확산해 지역 브랜드 가치를 높이기 위한 국가 문화 프로젝트다.
이번 후보에는 '계룡군문화축제, 광천토굴새우젓·광천조미김대축제, 논산딸기축제, 백제문화제, 보령머드축제, 부여서동연꽃축제, 서산해미읍성축제, 아산성웅이순신축제, 천안흥타령춤축제, 계룡 사계고택, 공주 제민천, 문당환경농업마을' 등 총 12건이 이름을 올렸다.
앞서 지난 2023년 제1기 로컬100에서는 서산해미읍성축제, 계룡 사계고택, 문당환경농업마을 등 3건이 충남 지역 대표 자원으로 선정된 바 있다.
최종 선정 결과는 국민 참여 온라인 투표와 전문가 심사를 종합해 결정되며, 올해 말 최종 발표될 예정이다. 투표는 오는 31일까지 지역문화진흥원 누리집(www.rcda.or.kr/local100)을 통해 참여할 수 있다.
충남도 관계자는 이번 후보 선정이 지역 문화의 품격을 전국에 알릴 중요한 계기가 될 것이라고 강조하며, 도민들의 적극적인 참여를 당부했다. 이어 충남이 유서 깊은 역사와 다채로운 문화가 공존하는 지역으로서, 로컬100을 통해 지역의 문화적 매력이 더욱 널리 알려질 것으로 기대된다고 덧붙였다.

Major cultural resources representing South Chungcheong Province have been selected as candidates for the "2nd Local 100" project, promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Regional Culture Promotion Agency.

The final selection results will be determined through a combination of online public voting and expert review, and will be announced at the end of the year. Voting is open until the 31st through the Regional Culture Promotion Agency website (www.rcda.or.kr/local100).
A Chungcheongnam-do official emphasized that this selection will serve as a significant opportunity to showcase the quality of local culture nationwide and urged active participation from residents.
