【브레이크뉴스 경북】진예솔 기자=경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 ‘2025년 사교육 경감 실천 사례 공모’를 추진한다고 20일 밝혔다.
도내 초·중·고등학교를 대상으로 한 이번 공모는 학교가 주도적으로 ‘1학교 1특색 과제’를 발굴해 사교육비를 줄이고, 공교육 신뢰를 회복하기 위해 마련됐다.
각 학교는 지역 여건과 학생 요구를 반영한 특색 프로그램을 운영한 뒤, 성과를 보고서로 제출하면 된다.
교육지원청 추천을 거쳐 도 교육청 심사위원회가 평가하며, 초·중·고 각급별 최우수 1교, 우수 2교 등 총 9교를 선정할 예정이다.
심사 기준은 학교·지역 특색, 교육과정 연계성, 학생 자기주도 학습 역량 강화, 사교육비 절감 노력, 학부모 인식 개선 등을 포함한다.
임종식 교육감은 “사교육을 줄이는 가장 확실한 방법은 공교육이 믿음을 주는 것”이라며, “학교가 중심이 되어 지역과 함께 사교육 경감 선순환 모델을 만들어갈 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

The Gyeongbuk Office of Education (Superintendent Lim Jong-sik) announced on the 20th that it will launch a "2025 Private Education Reduction Practice Contest."
This contest, open to elementary, middle, and high schools in the province, aims to reduce private education costs and restore trust in public education by encouraging schools to proactively identify "one school, one unique project."
Each school will implement a unique program that reflects local conditions and student needs and then submit a report on the results.
These programs will be evaluated by the Provincial Office of Education's Evaluation Committee, following recommendations from the Office of Education Support. A total of nine schools will be selected, including one top school and two excellent schools from each elementary, middle, and high school level.
The evaluation criteria include school and regional characteristics, curriculum connectivity, strengthening student self-directed learning capacity, efforts to reduce private education costs, and improving parental awareness.
Superintendent Lim Jong-sik said, “The most certain way to reduce private education is for public education to be trusted,” and added, “I will actively support schools to take the lead and work with local communities to create a virtuous cycle model for reducing private education.”
