【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 지난 19일 음성종합운동장에서 9개 읍·면 선수단과 주민 등 1500여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘제42회 음성군민체육대회’를 개최했다.
이번 대회는 체육경기 8종목(육상, 게이트볼, 배구, 족구, 바둑, 그라운드골프, 탁구, 배드민턴), 민속경기 7종목(쌀가마니들기, 줄다리기, 윷놀이, 단체줄넘기, 투호, 고무신던지기, 전자다트)으로 구성됐다.
특히 이번 대회에서는 기존의 전자다트 종목을 민속경기에 편성하고 경기 종목의 배점을 높이는 등 더욱 많은 군민이 참여할 수 있도록 준비했다.
개회식은 지난 대회 종합우승팀인 금왕읍의 우승기 반환, 조병옥 군수와 김기창 체육회장의 성화 점화로 시작됐으며 이어 9개 읍·면을 대표하는 선수단의 열띤 경기가 펼쳐졌다.
대회 결과, 종합우승은 1445점을 획득한 대소면이 우승기와 트로피를 거머쥐었으며, 종합2위는 금왕읍(1320점), 종합3위는 생극면(1275점)이 차지했다.
