【브레이크뉴스 포항】박영재 기자=선린대학교(총장 곽진환) 현장실습지원센터는 지난 20일, 인산관 1층 대회의실에서 ‘2025학년도 현장실습 공모전 시상식’을 개최했다.

이번 공모전은 현장실습을 통해 쌓은 학생들의 다양한 경험과 성과를 공유하고, 우수사례를 발굴해 실무 중심 교육의 성과를 확산하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 행사에서 사회복지심리상담과 2학년 김창희 학생이 대상을 수상했다. 김 학생은 발달장애인의 일상과 사회참여를 지원하는 실습 과정에서 대상자의 욕구와 특성을 세심하게 이해하고자 노력한 점을 높이 평가받았다.
그는 “현장 실습을 통해 실무 대응 능력과 전문성을 기를 수 있었고, 미래 사회복지 전문가로서의 태도를 다지는 계기가 되었다”며 “학교의 현장 중심 커리큘럼이 진로 방향을 설정하는 데 큰 도움이 됐다”고 소감을 전했다.
현장실습지원센터 강근영 센터장은 “현장실습은 단순한 체험이 아닌, 학생들이 스스로 성장하고 자부심을 느낄 수 있는 소중한 배움의 과정”이라며 “실습 경험을 돌아보며 얻은 피드백이 졸업 후 사회 진출에도 큰 힘이 될 것”이라고 강조했다.
이번 시상식은 학생들이 실습 경험을 성찰하고 개선점을 모색하는 의미 있는 자리로, 자기 성장의 방향성을 구체화하는 계기가 되었다는 평가를 받았다.
선린대학교 현장실습지원센터는 앞으로도 전문대학혁신지원사업과 연계해 다양한 현장실습 및 진로지원 프로그램을 운영, 학생들이 사회와 긴밀히 연결되고 실질적인 직무 역량을 키울 수 있도록 적극 지원할 계획이다.

Kim was highly recognized for his meticulous efforts to understand the needs and characteristics of individuals with developmental disabilities during his practicum, which supported their daily lives and social participation.
He stated, "The field training allowed me to develop practical skills and expertise, and it also served as an opportunity to solidify my attitude as a future social welfare professional. The school's field-centered curriculum was a great help in determining my career path."
Kang Geun-young, Director of the Field Training Support Center, emphasized, "Field training is not simply an experience; it is a valuable learning process that allows students to grow and develop their self-esteem. The feedback gained from reflecting on their field training experiences will be a great asset for them as they enter the workforce after graduation."
