브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= LG유플러스는 신규 인터넷 요금제 ‘너겟 라이트’를 출시했다고 21일 밝혔다.
너겟 라이트는 약정기간을 최대 3년까지 설정할 수 있었던 기존 요금제에 비해 약정 기간을 최대 5년까지 확대하면서 월 이용료를 최대 6600원 저렴하게 이용할 수 있다. IPTV 뿐만 아니라 유·무선 결합도 가능해 보다 합리적인 요금으로 서비스를 이용 가능한 것이 특징이다.
너겟 라이트는 지난 3월 LG유플러스가 통신사 최초로 ‘다이렉트 신혼 프로모션 인터넷 요금제’라는 이름으로 신혼부부 및 결혼 예정 부부 대상으로 판매했던 프로모션 요금제다.
그러나, 좋은 혜택으로 입소문이 나면서 고객센터에 가입 대상이 아닌 고객까지 문의가 있었다. 이에 LG유플러스는 고객의 요청을 적극 반영해 혜택 그대로 신혼부부 대상이 아닌 전 고객 대상으로 정식 출시하게 됐다고 설명했다.
너겟 라이트의 상품별 이용 요금은 5년 약정 및 IPTV 결합 시 △100M 상품 기존 대비 월 4400원 저렴한 2만3100원 △500M 상품 기존 대비 월 6600원 저렴한 2만7500원 △1G 상품 기존 대비 월 6600원 저렴한 3만3000원 등이다.
500M 이상 요금제를 선택한 고객에게는 안정적인 인터넷 환경을 위해 ‘기가 Wi-Fi’ 단말기 2대가 제공된다.
정식 출시하면서 고객의 가입 경로도 더욱 다양해졌다. 기존에 판매했을 당시에는 LG유플러스 공식 온라인 직영몰인 ‘유플러스 닷컴’을 통해서만 가입이 가능했지만, 이제는 LG유플러스 고객센터에서도 가입할 수 있다.
오인호 LG유플러스 홈사업담당(상무)은 “너겟 라이트 요금제 정식 출시는 고객의 요청에서부터 시작된 요금제라 더욱 의미가 있다”며 “고객 중심으로 고민해 홈 서비스 상품 라인업을 다양화 하도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
