최민호 세종시장은 21일 종촌동 육아종합지원센터에서 ‘찾아가는 현장소통’을 열고 영유아 학부모 40여 명과 함께 심폐소생술을 재숙지하고 응급대처의 중요성을 공유했다.
시에 따르면 이날 심폐소생술 교육은 세종시육아종합지원센터 육아 지원에 따라 대한인명구조협회 김지태 회장의 재능기부로 진행됐다.
교육은 실질적인 응급상황 대처 요령을 익히기 위해 4개 조로 나눠 이뤄졌다.
학부모들은 교육용 인형을 활용해 직접 심폐소생술을 체험하며 실제 상황에서 침착하게 대응하는 법을 익혔다.
최민호 시장도 교육을 함께 받으며 시민과 아이의 생명을 살릴 수 있는 심폐소생술을 재숙지했다.
이어 학부모들과 아이 돌봄과 안전교육에 대한 의견을 나누며 진솔한 소통을 이어갔다.
학부모들은 심폐소생술을 비롯한 안전 관련 실습 교육과 시간제 보육, 응급상황 대처 기반 시설 확충 등의 의견을 개진했다.
시는 이날 나온 참석자들의 의견을 검토·반영하는 등 안전한 육아환경 조성을 위해 적극 노력한다는 계획이다.
최민호 시장은 “아이를 키우는 일은 무엇보다 보람된 일”이라며 “돌봄이 필요한 3세 이하 아동을 위한 어린이집과 맞벌이 부모를 위한 아이돌봄정책 마련에 더욱 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
