【브레이크뉴스 대구】진예솔 기자=더불어민주당 대구시당(위원장 허소)이 지난 23일 오후 대구 엑스코에서 열린 ‘2025 미래혁신기술박람회’ 현장을 방문했다.
이날 행사에는 허소 위원장을 비롯해 지역위원장, 지방의원, 당직자 등 20여 명이 참여해 눈길을 끌었다.
‘이미 시작된 미래, All on AI’를 주제로 22일부터 25일까지 나흘간 이어지는 이번 박람회는 모빌리티와 로봇, 정보통신기술, 스타트업 등 미래산업 전반을 아우른다.
대구가 ‘미래산업의 테스트베드 도시’로 도약하고 있다는 점을 보여주는 대표 기술 전시회로 자리매김했다.
이날 방문단은 약 2시간 동안 로봇관과 지역 기업 부스를 둘러봤다. 최신 기술 동향을 직접 살펴보는 한편, 에이로봇, 엘앤에프, 경창산업, 이수페타시스 등 대구의 대표 기업 관계자들과 현장의 애로사항과 산업 육성 방안에 대해 의견을 나눴다.
허소 위원장은 “AI·로봇 수도 건설과 지역거점 AX 혁신기술개발사업은 대구 산업의 미래를 좌우할 중요한 과제”라며 “지역의 기술력과 기업 역량이 실제 산업 성장으로 이어질 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 강조했다.
이어 “AI와 로봇을 중심으로 한 산업 기반 구축이 대구의 새로운 성장 동력이 될 것”이라며, “대구시당은 정부 정책과 지역 기업의 기술 역량이 잘 연결될 수 있도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Chairman Heo So emphasized, "The construction of an AI and robot capital and the regional hub AX Innovation Technology Development Project are critical tasks that will determine the future of Daegu's industry. We will do our utmost to ensure that the region's technological prowess and corporate capabilities translate into actual industrial growth."
He continued, "Building an industrial foundation centered on AI and robotics will become a new growth engine for Daegu." He added, "The Daegu City Party will actively support the alignment of government policies with the technological capabilities of local companies."
