프랑스 'AFP 통신'에 따르면 트럼프 대통령은 이날 미 대통령 전용기 에어포스 원편으로 쿠알라룸푸르 공항에 내려 오전에 태국·캄보디아 간 평화협정 서명식 주재로 현지 일정에 들어갔다.
평화협정 서명식엔 중재 역할을 맡은 올해 아세안 의장국 말레이시아 안와르 이브라힘 총리·태국·캄보디아 정상들이 함께 자리한다.
이어 말레이시지와의 무역 협정에 서명 후 하루를 머물고 오는 27일 일본으로 출발해 사흘간 일정을 소화할 예정이다.
