올해로 방송 45주년을 맞은 전국노래자랑은 세대를 아우르는 대국민 참여형 프로그램으로, 지역민들이 끼와 재능을 마음껏 발휘할 수 있는 무대다. 영덕군에서는 지난 2012년 이후 13년 만에 열리는 만큼 지역의 관심과 기대가 뜨겁다.
이번 공개녹화는 영덕군민의 화합과 지역문화 활성화를 위해 마련된 행사로, 조항조·김연자·손빈아·윤수현·윤태화 등 인기 가수들이 출연해 축하공연을 펼치며 현장의 열기를 더할 예정이다.
본선 무대에 앞서 예심은 11월 9일(토) 오후 1시 영덕 예주문화예술회관에서 열린다. 예심을 통과한 약 15개 팀이 본 녹화 무대에 오를 예정이다.
참가 신청은 11월 6일(수)까지이며, 선착순 300팀을 모집한다. 영덕군민을 비롯해 지역 내 사업자, 직장인, 학생 등 누구나 신청 가능하지만, 기성 가수는 제외된다. 신청은 영덕문화관광재단 홈페이지에서 신청서를 내려받아 이메일로 제출하거나 예주문화예술회관을 방문해 접수하면 된다. 인터넷 사용이 어려운 주민은 전화 접수도 가능하다.
배경조 영덕군 문화관광과장은 “13년 만에 영덕에서 열리는 전국노래자랑이 군민 모두가 함께 즐기고 소통하는 화합의 무대가 되길 바란다”며 “많은 군민의 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다”고 말했다.

Applications are open until Wednesday, November 6th, and the first 300 teams will be accepted. Anyone, including Yeongdeok residents, local business owners, employees, and students, is eligible to apply, but established singers are excluded. Applications can be downloaded from the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation website and submitted via email or in person at the Yeju Culture and Arts Center. Residents without internet access can also apply by phone.
Baek Gyeong-jo, head of the Yeongdeok County Culture and Tourism Division, said, "I hope that the National Singing Contest, held in Yeongdeok for the first time in 13 years, will become a stage for harmony and enjoyment for all residents of the county. I ask for your interest and participation."
