브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 국내 최초의 대규모 클래식카 전시회인 ‘2025 서울클래식카쇼(THE SEOUL CLASSIC CAR SHOW 2025)’가 성황리에 막을 내렸다.
한국클래식카협회(회장 정재신)와 코엑스(사장 조상현)가 공동 주최하고 오토카코리아가 주관한 이번 행사는 지난 24일부터 26일까지 사흘간 코엑스 야외 잔디광장에서 열렸다. 이번 행사는 한국 클래식카 문화의 본격적인 출발점이자, 자동차를 예술로 즐기는 새로운 장을 열었다는 평가를 받았다.
행사 기간 동안 코엑스를 찾은 시민과 외국인 관람객들이 잔디광장을 가득 메웠으며, 일부 외신에서는 “서울 한복판에서 열린 세계적 수준의 클래식카 축제”라고 평가하기도 했다.

이번 전시에는 글로벌 명차 15대와 클래식 모터사이클 4대 등 총 19대가 전시됐다. ‘마지막 정통 롤스로이스’로 불리는 팬텀 VI는 압도적인 크기와 존재감으로 관람객들의 시선을 사로잡았고, 쉐보레 콜벳 스팅레이는 시동이 걸리는 순간 특유의 배기음으로 현장을 달궜다.
이외에도 기아 브리사, 현대 포니 왜건, 메르세데스-벤츠 300SL 로드스터, BMW 3.0 CSL 배트모빌, 시트로엥 DS 20 등이 전시돼 카메라 플래시 세례를 받았다.

분당에서 방문한 김현아(26) 씨는 “클래식카가 이렇게 아름다운지 몰랐다. 자동차를 보며 설레는 감정을 처음 느꼈다”고 소감을 전했고, 성북동의 박민철(57) 씨는 “고전 자동차의 엔진 소리만 들어도 기분이 좋아진다”고 말했다.
행사가 성공적으로 치러진데 대해 최주식 집행위원장은 “서울클래식카쇼는 자동차 기술과 미학, 그리고 문화적 가치가 한자리에 어우러진 행사였다”며 “특히 젊은 세대의 높은 관심은 클래식카 문화의 새로운 가능성을 보여줬다”고 평가했다.
