【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 가을 관광명소 비내섬에서 앙성온천관광협의회가 주관하는 ‘2025 비내섬’ 이벤트가 진행 중이라고 밝혔다.
25일(토) 열린 1차 이벤트는 시민과 관광객들의 큰 호응 속에 마무리된 바 있다.
가을 정취가 절정에 이른 비내섬을 배경으로 클래식 공연, 관광객 참여형 이벤트, 자연해설사와 함께하는 비내섬 탐방 등 다채로운 프로그램이 펼쳐져 관람객들의 발길을 사로잡았다.
특히, 가족 단위 방문객과 사진 동호회, 캠핑족들의 참여가 두드러졌으며, 은빛 억새밭을 배경으로 펼쳐진 음악 공연은 자연과 어우러진 ‘힐링형 프로그램’으로 호평받았다.
오는 11월 1일(토)에도 같은 장소에서 ‘2차 비내섬 이벤트’를 이어갈 예정이다.

비내섬은 2021년 11월 환경부 습지보호지역으로 지정된 곳으로, 자연 지형이 그대로 보존돼 멸종위기종 수달, 단양쑥부쟁이 등 15종을 포함한 약 865종의 야생동식물이 서식하고 있다.
또한 비내섬의 생태적 가치를 지키기 위해 자연환경해설사와 환경관리원이 상주하며 탐방객 해설과 환경정비에 힘쓰고 있다.
