단양군, 온달문화축제 기념 게이트볼대회 마무리

【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 단양군은 지난 23일 별곡게이트볼장에서 열린 ‘제4회 단양군 온달문화축제 기념 게이트볼대회’가 성황리에 마무리됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 대회는 (사)대한노인회 단양군지회 주관으로 열렸으며, 관내 8개 읍·면에서 선발된 10개 게이트볼팀 66명의 선수와 내빈 등 100여 명이 참석해 열띤 경쟁을 펼쳤다.

대회는 토너먼트 방식으로 진행됐으며, 참가팀들은 뛰어난 기량과 팀워크를 선보이며 시종일관 뜨거운 열기를 이어갔다.

치열한 접전 끝에 매포팀이 우승, 단양팀이 준우승, 가평팀과 영춘팀이 공동 3위를 차지하며 대회의 막을 내렸다.

이덕홍 (사)대한노인회 단양군지회 회장은 “온달문화축제를 기념해 열린 이번 게이트볼대회가 어르신들의 건강하고 활기찬 노년을 응원하는 뜻깊은 자리가 되었다”며 “앞으로도 어르신들이 다양한 사회활동에 참여해 쌓은 지혜와 경험이 지역사회 발전의 밑거름이 되도록 적극 지원하겠다”고 말했다.

Danyang County, North Chungcheong Province, announced the successful conclusion of the "4th Danyang County Ondal Culture Festival Commemorative Gateball Tournament," held at Byeolgok Gateball Field on the 23rd.

Hosted by the Danyang County Branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, the tournament saw 10 gateball teams, 66 players selected from eight towns and townships in the county, and over 100 guests participate, engaging in a fierce competition.

The tournament was held in a tournament format, and the participating teams showcased outstanding skills and teamwork, maintaining a high level of excitement throughout.

After a fierce competition, the Maepo team won, the Danyang team took second place, and the Gapyeong and Yeongchun teams tied for third place, bringing the tournament to a close.
