CJ제일제당의 차세대 한식 셰프 프로젝트 ‘퀴진케이(Cuisine.K)’는 tvN 드라마 ‘폭군의 셰프’와 협업해 오는 11월 2일부터 사흘간 서울 강남 퀴진케이 레스토랑에서 체험형 팝업 〈폭군의 셰프, 연지영의 한 상〉을 운영한다.
이번 팝업은 드라마 속 궁중 요리를 현대적으로 재해석한 7코스 한식 메뉴로 구성됐다. ‘된장 파스타’, ‘압력솥 오계탕’, ‘고추장버터비빔밥’ 등 드라마에서 등장한 메뉴를 퀴진케이 영셰프 5인이 새롭게 선보인다. 공간에는 드라마 실제 소품을 배치해 관람형·체험형을 결합한 ‘타임슬립’ 콘셉트로 연출했다.
식사는 10월 28~29일 ‘캐치테이블’ 앱을 통한 무료 래플 응모로 예약할 수 있다.
이번 프로젝트에는 드라마 요리 자문을 맡았던 앰버서더 서울 풀만호텔 신종철 총괄 셰프도 멘토로 참여해 영셰프들의 메뉴 완성도를 높인다.
CJ제일제당 관계자는 “드라마와 한식을 결합한 이번 팝업은 K-푸드와 K-콘텐츠의 융합형 미식 경험”이라며 “젊은 셰프들이 창의성을 발휘할 수 있는 한식 실험 무대로도 의미가 있다”고 말했다.

CJ CheilJedang is partnering with K-content to present new possibilities for Korean cuisine (Hansik).
Cuisine.K, CJ CheilJedang's next-generation Korean chef project, is collaborating with the tvN drama 'The Tyrant's Chef' to operate an experiential pop-up titled <The Tyrant's Chef, Yeon Ji-young's Hansang (Korean full-course meal)> for three days, starting from November 2nd, at the Cuisine.K restaurant in Gangnam, Seoul.
This pop-up features a 7-course Korean menu that modernly reinterprets the royal court cuisine shown in the drama. Five young chefs from Cuisine.K will present new versions of dishes that appeared in the drama, such as 'Doenjang Pasta,' 'Pressure Cooker Ogye-tang' (Black Chicken Soup), and 'Gochujang Butter Bibimbap.' The space is designed with a 'time-slip' concept that combines viewing and experience, featuring actual props from the drama.
Reservations for the dining experience can be made through a free raffle entry on the 'Catch Table' app on October 28th-29th.
Shin Jong-cheol, the Executive Chef of Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel who served as a culinary consultant for the drama, is also participating as a mentor in this project to enhance the menu quality of the young chefs.
A CJ CheilJedang official commented, "This pop-up, which combines drama and Korean food, is a convergent gastronomic experience of K-Food and K-Content," adding, "It is also significant as a stage for young chefs to experiment with Korean cuisine and unleash their creativity."
