경북교육청(교육감 임종식)은 ‘경북 진학지원 플랫폼’을 중심으로 다양한 면접지원 프로그램을 운영, 학생들의 진학 역량 강화를 위해 속도를 내고 있다고 28일 밝혔다.
주요 프로그램으로는 ▲교사를 위한 면접 역량 강화 특강 ▲권역별 대입상담실 1:1 실전 지도 ▲제시문 기반 면접 ▲의예과 다중 미니면접(MMI) 모의면접 ▲찾아가는 서류 기반 모의면접 ▲AI 면접 플랫폼 ‘경북진학온(ON)’ 운영 등 맞춤형 지원이 있다. 이들 프로그램은 학생들의 면접 실전 감각을 키우고, 개개인의 진학 상황에 대응할 수 있도록 체계적으로 마련됐다.
특히 제시문 기반 면접과 의학계열 MMI 면접은 경북진학지원단 교사들이 직접 문항을 제작하고, 면접관으로 참여해 실제와 유사한 환경에서 진행됐다. 학생들은 인문·자연계열별 면접 이론 강의와 실습을 병행하며 실제 면접 준비에 큰 만족과 효과를 얻은 것으로 나타났다.
소규모 고등학교를 대상으로 실시된 ‘찾아가는 서류 기반 모의면접’ 역시 현장을 직접 찾아가 운영했다. 대면 상담이 어려운 지역 학생들에게도 면접 기회를 제공하면서 지역 간 불균형 해소와 함께 학생들의 자신감, 실전 적응력을 높였다는 평가다.
올 하반기에는 경북교육청이 자체 개발한 AI 기반 맞춤형 면접 플랫폼 ‘경북진학온(ON)’이 정식 도입될 예정이다. 이 플랫폼은 학생의 생활기록부와 지원 대학 정보를 분석해 맞춤형 면접 문항을 자동으로 만들어주며, 기출문항 분석과 학과별 특성 반영, 교사 피드백까지 모두 제공한다. 면접 경험이 부족한 학생들에게는 특히 실질적인 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.
임종식 교육감은 “학생 한 명, 한 명이 자신의 가치를 충분히 펼칠 수 있도록 누구도 소외되지 않는 면접 지원을 강화하겠다”며 “AI 기반 공교육 진학 플랫폼을 한층 더 고도화해 학생들의 미래 역량을 실질적으로 키워가겠다”고 말했다.
