[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 농림축산식품부 주관 '2026년 농업 근로자 기숙사 건립지원 사업' 공모에 최종 선정되어 총사업비 24억 원(국비·도비 13.2억 원)을 확보했다고 밝혔다.
이번 공모사업은 농업 근로자의 안정적인 농촌 정착을 지원하기 위해 전국 지자체를 대상으로 진행되었으며, 거창군은 주민설명회, 의견청취 공고 등 철저한 사전 준비 과정을 거쳤다. 농식품부의 1차 서면평가와 2차 현장평가를 성공적으로 통과하며 전국 5개소에만 주어지는 기숙사 건립 기회를 얻었다.
