이번 평가에서 경남도는 도내 시·군의 방제체계 운영성과와 감염병 대응 역량을 종합적으로 분석하고, 지역 방제활동의 모범 사례를 발굴하기 위해 추진했다.
이번 평가에서 진주시보건소는 지역·시기별 맞춤방제, 근거중심 방제, 스마트 행정기반 방제관리 등 세 가지 핵심 전략을 추진해 방제의 효율성과 신뢰도를 높였다.
또 진주시보건소는 지역 특성에 맞춰 읍면동 방역소독원과 보건소 방역기동반을 운영하고, 해충유인 살충기를 설치하는 등 맞춤형 방제활동을 강화했다.
