‘진세노K888’은 효소분해 발효 추출공법을 통해 고려인삼에서 얻은 희귀 진세노사이드 성분을 668mg/g 함유한 고함량 제품으로, 세계 최고 수준의 순도를 자랑한다. 국제특허 출원을 마친 기술로 항염·면역조절·전립선비대증 개선 등 다양한 생리활성이 확인돼 천연물 기반 의약소재로 주목받고 있다.
회사 측은 이번 계약을 계기로 천연 항암제 및 전립선 치료제 공동개발 프로젝트를 추진할 계획이다. 또 도라지·황기 등 국내 자생 약용식물의 유효성분을 활용한 신규 바이오소재 연구에도 속도를 낸다.
업계는 이번 성과가 국내 천연물 산업이 건강기능식품을 넘어 의약·헬스케어 시장으로 확장하는 전환점이 될 것으로 보고 있다.

This internationally patented technology has been proven to have various physiological activities, including anti-inflammation, immune regulation, and improvement of benign prostatic hyperplasia, drawing attention as a natural product-based pharmaceutical.
The company plans to use this agreement as a catalyst for joint development projects for natural anticancer and prostate treatments. It will also accelerate research into new biomaterials utilizing the active ingredients of indigenous Korean medicinal plants, such as bellflower root and astragalus membranaceus.
The industry believes this achievement will mark a turning point for the domestic natural products industry, expanding beyond health functional foods into the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets.
